I received the article below recently by e-mail as I expect many of you did.  I have no clue as to the author.  The message it contains is profound.

Many of my generation remember Castro -- even before he proclaimed he was a communist by his words and deeds.  By that time, the people of Cuba were enslaved.  The nearest freedom lay ninety miles away -- across a watery divide.  The “five and ten cents” stores sold Castro hats and Castro beards to America’s children.  Castro’s façade was THAT complete and THAT effective. 

Many conservative commentators have been warning America for four years that unmistakable signs of communism are emanating from the leader of our nation.  The warning flags went up long before he was elected.  They were ignored. 

Those issuing the warnings have been scoffed at, belittled, and made the butt of jokes.  It matters not that those warning America to beware were, and are, men and women of experience.  Their words of caution have come from a lifetime of defending America in and out of uniform.

See, we recognize the philosophy of America’s leader.  Why?  The answer is simple … because we have seen it all before.  If fact, we saw it in our neighboring country … Cuba.  We watched as Cuba embraced a charismatic savior with flowing oratory who quickly became their slave master.  

“There are none so blind as those who WILL NOT SEE.”   John Heywood is credited with having said this way back in 1546.  It is as true today as it was then … and even before Heywood made the remark.

In 2008, America underwent a period of willful blindness during which voters elected America’s current leader.  Over the past three years, the scales have been slowly falling from our eyes as we survey the damage that mistake has caused the United States of America … and the world.  

Whoever the author of the piece below, he/she has also seen the many disguises communism uses to successfully attract those who do not have the benefit of experience.  Like moths to a flame, they flock to the warmth of the bright light that will consume them.

To those of us with a lifetime of experience, the Obama Regime is all too familiar and utterly frightening.

I remember asking dad about Castro when I was about 9 years old. I asked, "Is Castro a good guy or bad?"

Dad said...he couldn't tell!! This was about 1955. We were living in Louisiana ...at the time. Dad was in the Army there.

Cuba was fairly close and in the news a lot. The Cubans were asking the same question!

Ike was President.

This past July, we had the pleasure of sharing a summer barbecue with a refugee from Cuba. Our dinner conversation was starkly different than most.

This refugee came to the United States as a young boy in the early 1960's. His family was more fortunate than most, as they were able to bring a suitcase...and $100 when they fled Castro's newly formed revolutionary paradise.

Our dinner consisted of all-American fare: hamburgers, potato salad, watermelon, and fresh ears of sweet corn. This is a menu shared with family and friends nationwide...while celebrating the birth of our beloved America ...on the Fourth of July.

We began with a simple discussion about our country, and the direction it has taken since Barack Obama came to power. We shared the usual complaints about the sour economy and liberal social engineering emanating from the rulers in Washington.

But then he said it. The sentence came naturally. I assume it was unplanned. But it carried the weight of a freight train. "You know, when Castro took power, none of us knew he was a Communist.”

We sat stunned. He continued, "Yes, we all thought he was a patriot, a nationalist. Before the revolution he didn't sound like a radical."

The comparison at this point was easy, and I interjected, "You mean just like Barack Obama?"

He responded; "Yes, just like Barack Obama."

He continued, "We were all shocked as the government just continued to grab more power. First they said the revolution is over, so please turn in your guns. We all complied."

I remember my uncle saying after it started; “Castro will only nationalize some of the big industries. He will never come and take our family hardware store!!” But that is exactly what happened. Castro started with the sugar mills and the large industries, but they eventually came and knocked on the door of our family hardware store. My family had run this store for generations. They said we now own the hardware store. You work for us. And that nice, large four-bedroom home you own...it is now our property also, and ... you can move yourself and five children into two rooms of the house, because others are moving in with you."

The lesson learned from this discussion, is a lesson most Americans refuse to hear. Political leaders can lie about their agenda and once in office...they can take totally unexpected turns.

If you had asked us three years ago if we thought General Motors would be nationalized, we would have never believed it. We could never contemplate a country where the rule of law, the most fundamental building block of a just society...would be evaporating, just like it did in Castro's Cuba in the early 1960's.

But the news of injustice keeps increasing. Black Panthers are not charged with wrong doing by the U.S. Department of Justice...because their crimes are against whites. The bondholders of GM are stripped of their assets...without due process by the government! Governmental leaders are bribed in full daylight...only to have all investigation of the crimes stifled...by the Attorney General.

The U.S. borders are over run with crime and illegal activity, and the leaders in D.C. act as if it is important to protect the lawbreakers.... while the innocent are killed and over run. When local communities attempt to enforce the law, they are ridiculed...and threatened as racists and bigots. They are sued by the very administration...entrusted with enforcing the law.

Without the rule of law, the U.S. Constitution is a sham!! Without the rule of law, our beloved America is swiftly becoming a country where only the well connected and politically powerful will be safe. As Michelle Malkin has so eloquently explained in her recent book...a culture of corruption has replaced honest government.

The only way this problem will be fixed is by massive citizen action. All honest citizens that want to be treated equally, must come together...and demand that the favoritism, the bribes, the uneven enforcement of law...end now!!

And yes, IT CAN HAPPEN HERE!!

America was threatened by a ruthless enemy in Soviet Communism that would not stop until the world was enslaved. When Senator Joseph McCarthy learned of the Russian infiltration of Washington, DC, he was determined to take the evidence public to the American people.

In his famous speech on February 9th, 1950, McCarthy brought public a list of 57 known communists working for the state department. These revelations took the American public by storm. Out of all the Senators and public figures in Washington, only McCarthy had the courage to stand up against communist infiltration. It was a deed that McCarthy's leftist critics would never forgive him for.o

ONLY 57 Communists?  Good Grief! 

If Joe McCarthy was alive today, and engaged in the same investigation, there’s a pretty good chance he’d have to use a set of hand trucks, or a dolly, to roll the current list of suspected communists, plus the socialists and Marxists working for, employed by, or otherwise involved with the US government.

We must remember, dear reader, that was 1950.  It was early in the socialist movement in the American mainstream media, which would, as time passed, become so strong it would sanitize the socialist/marxist/communist movement to infiltrate the US government.  Today that movement controls, approximately, half of the three branches of the current US government.

If the American citizen of today were as smart -- and as well educated -- as the Americans of the 1950’s we would be storming the US seat of government demanding a purge of our government and a return to a constitution centered government, the legacy of this nation’s founders, which has now been discarded in favor of a socialist agenda with the ultimate goal of creating a socialist/marxist/communist government in which the state controls American’s lives from the cradle to the grave –and – presumes to replace God with the state as the object of citizen’s worship.

If you doubt this, notice how the American mainstream media has assumed the position of Praetorian Guard to the Obama Administration -- itself riddled with socialists and Marxists. In fact, many conservative commentators are convinced that Obama, himself, is a socialist. Some even go so far as to accuse him of actually being a communist.

Not today.  Today, with political correctness squeezing the life out of truth, even McCarthy’s name is a dirty word.  But that is what political correctness does.  It stifles truth.  It slams the brakes on any discussion of whether or not Senator McCarthy was right – or not. It makes certain a public discussion of whether the US government is held captive by communists, socialists, and Marxists is, in fact, true – or not darn near impossible.

Political correctness is an oft-used tool to MISLEAD the public, as well. Was Joe McCarthy all the terrible and evil things we are told … or have we been mislead?  Political correctness is the tool wielded by the left to make darn sure the other side is never, ever, heard.

In modern America, we embrace socialism, Marxism, and communism. McCarthy saw it as the threat to America that it was in the 1950’s and as it is today.  It is a cancer eating away at America’s soul.  It is terminal.  It WILL kill America.

And there is NOBODY standing tall and pointing out to Americans the evil disease rotting our nation from within.

Unfortunately, Americans bought into the propaganda from the left concerning the “evil” McCarthy.  Believing it themselves, they became zealous in disseminating it to the masses.

But the truth has a way of surviving just about everything.  Now we know from information gathered from studies of old Soviet files in Moscow and the famous Vanona Intercepts -- FBI recordings of Soviet embassy communications between 1944-48 – the actual record of that period in American history is proving that McCarthy was essentially right.

Would it even be possible to create an Un-American Activities Committee today in either the US House of Representatives or the US Senate? The answer is an emphatic – NO!

Another question:  Would the American people support such an effort?  Here is the most telling answer of all – NO!

America does not want the truth because we are no longer capable of handling the truth.

And so we perish -- at our own hand.

The push for a new constitution for America has begun.

We have all heard the expression: “A Living Constitution.” It means the constitution our Founding Fathers gave us is a document that should be interpreted by taking into consideration that we Americans live, today, in a different time, a different world, than did our forefathers of the 18th century. We live in the 21st century.

Those who believe this – and there is a frighteningly large number of them – are in high places of power, including judicial power, as well as everyday working class Americans. They are flat-out WRONG.

Before I go on, allow me to assure you that I am not among those who advocate a “living constitution.” I am of the opinion the original constitution says what it means and means what it says. That makes me what is referred to today as an “originalist.” That is fine by me.

See, I believe the original constitution has made this country unique -- and great in its uniqueness. It has made Americans the freest people on the face of the planet. It has allowed Americans to become the most prosperous people in history. Even our poor are light years better off than the poor of other nations.

The constitution placed restraints on the government of America allowing the American citizen to be all they could and can be – and then some. As a result, we became one of the most creative nations ever in the history of civilization.

For many decades, there has been a portion of Americans who have sought to crush America’s liberty, America’s freedom, and create a New America. They seek to create a collectivist society in America. We call it socialism.

For many decades these people have pulled the strings of their marionettes from the shadows. Now THEY are in positions of ultimate power in the US Government.

Their intentions are to kill off the America we know and replace it with a government not shackled by the democratic process and free of the burden of acting as a representative of the people. Ultimately, they will replace the constitutional republican form of government America has enjoyed since her founding. They envision themselves taking the reins off the government, which is simply another way of saying -- they intend to by-pass the restraints on the government enforced by the original constitution.

Most Americans know that today’s America is not the America of 50 or 60 years ago. Slowly and quietly, those who seek to change America have been maneuvering a judicial form of government into place. Today, the federal judiciary, not the Congress, is making more and more of the nation’s laws. In many cases, judges, legislating from the bench, have been appointed to those positions for life. They have little to fear from the electorate. You see, they have never been elected. They are, in effect, un-elected legislators.

While the form of our government remains the same, the making of America’s laws has slowly shifted from the national legislature, the Congress, to the federal judiciary, the federal judges.

For evidence we have only to look to California. The people of that state went to the polls and decided that the marriage of two adult homosexuals, of the same gender, would not be allowed in their state. The voice of the people of California had spoken. That was that.

But wait! A judge has now ruled that the people of California were wrong. Just because they spoke through the ballot box (in accordance with the laws of their state) against gay marriage in the state of California, did not make it legal, in the opinion of that judge, and he simply ruled the law -- the people of the state had just agreed to -- out of existence, forcing them to accept a way of life they do not want in their state. One man over-ruled the votes of the citizens of state of California. One man did that. It is a clear case of “Rule by Judges.” It is also known as oligarchy, which means the rule of a few over the many.

Recently, we replaced a liberal Supreme Court Justice with another liberal Supreme Court Justice. So – we are even, right? Not so, in my opinion.

The new Justice is much younger and I am afraid we are going to learn she is far more likely to view the constitution as a “living document” and far more likely to consider outside opinions. That is to say -- we feel she will consider the rulings of judges in other lands, lands quite unlike America, in forming her own opinions on similar cases before the US Supreme Court.

She was appointed for life, so she has nothing to fear from American citizens who may disagree with her opinions and/or decisions.

I am of the opinion that America stands at a crossroads today. The direction we choose will determine the life or death of that once “Shining City on a Hill.”

Every generation of Americans has faced their own threats to the nation’s survival. They not only faced the threat, they summoned up the will, and they took the action necessary to overcome the threat – thus preserving America for the next generation.

This generation, in my opinion, is NOT demonstrating the depth of will their predecessors did, however. And it is worrisome because it is they who will either save America, this time, or allow it to crumble and fall and, eventually, wind up on the ash heap of history, as did the great Roman Empire.

On November 3rd, of this year, we will have a better understanding of this generation’s will to live free. Will they save America? We will know their intentions on the morning of Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010.

Well, the BIG Push is on to ram ObamaCare through the Congress and down the throats of the American people.

Obama is jetting around the country holding pep rallies to try to gin up support for the “Bill from Hell” -- Socialized Medicine. You should know these rallies include ONLY Obama supporters and ObamaCare supporters. The wild enthusiasm is staged for your benefit to, hopefully, give you the impression that ObamaCare is supported by the majority of Americans. The truth is – it is NOT.

These rallies are all propaganda. It’s “The BIG LIE” told over and over again just as the Nazis in Germany did to convince the people of an entire country they truly desired the socialism of the Nazi Party. I must tell you Joseph Goebbels, the Reich Minister of Propaganda in Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945, would be proud of the Democratic Party in America today. The Obama Regime has taken a page from the leftist Nazis of the last century on how to brainwash an entire nation into believing a lie. A lie that, once accepted, will spell the absolute doom of America.

The Democratic Party, by itself, simply does not give a damn! They are interested in two things and two things only -- and that is to maintain their hold on the government of the US and to ensure their reelection. They simply have no sympathy for what the American people truly want. Plus, THEY DON’T CARE WHAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT! All that counts is what they, the Democrats, want.

It is called “Command and Control.” A strong central government in charge of a “command and control economy” is their dream -- and it is their goal. They intend to reach that goal no matter what -- even if it means shredding the US Constitution.

Those of us on the right vowing to throw the Socialists and Marxists, masquerading as Democrats, out of the Congress this November had better watch our backs. The dems are quietly lining up the resistance to our movement and between now and November the right will come under attack, intensifying each day as the election draws nearer and nearer.


They are quietly conspiring with the less literate democrat voters and those who, for generations, have depended on the government welfare dole for their existence. Their intention is to flood the polls in November of 2010 to offset and overwhelm the anti-ObamaCare. These “wards of the federal government” will be flooding the polling places, everywhere in America, to dilute the opposition to ObamaCare and defeat the efforts to save the constitutional republic we know as America. Their intent is to create, once and for all, a Socialist/Communist America. And they may very well succeed!

For years those of us who have had the foresight to see the Socialized Medicine Bill for what it is, even though it is wrapped in the pretty package of ObamaCare, have worked tirelessly to expose it as a true Socialized Medicine Bill anchored in Marxism and Communism.

There are times when this scribe feels as though he is standing in front of a wall shouting the warning at the top of my lungs only to have it bounce back onto myself with little, if any, effect on the people whom the Bible describes as a people who have “stopped their ears.”

I must admit to weariness and fatigue and frustration, as the realization sets in that the masses of ObamaCare advocates, like lemmings, have chosen to follow their own Pied Piper -- this time straight over a cliff and into a Marxist/Communist hell-like oblivion.

During this fight, I have gained a better insight into Noah’s dilemma. He preached over and over the warning that a deadly flood was coming and would wipe out every man, woman, and child – but to no avail. As the story goes every one was killed except for the handful aboard Noah’s Ark.

America is on the verge of collapse. The final step ensuring that collapse is the passage of ObamaCare.

The schism that slices through America today has been widening since the 19th century. Little by little, decade-by-decade, year-by-year it has continued to get ever wider and ever deeper. It has nothing to do with geography. It has nothing to do with slavery… and, yet, it has everything to do with slavery.

"What," you say? "Didn't we put the slavery issue to rest with a war in the 1860's?"

The truthful answer is NO, we did not. We put to rest the issue of whether or not a man could hold another man in bondage in this country. What we did not put to rest, however, is the question of whether this country's government could hold its citizens in bondage.

The Founders of America intended to set up a government with very little power. They intended the government to have only the power the citizens allowed it to have. Almost instantly the power struggle began between those who wanted a strong central government and those who wanted strong states and a weak central government. After all, it was The States that created the Federal Government… as a utility of the states. Not the other way around. Look it up.

In 1860 there were 33 states in the so-called United States of America. I do mean "so-called" because they were anything but UNITED. By the spring of 1861 thirteen of those states had had enough of being "dictated-to" by a oligarchic federal government wielding powers the constitution did not grant it, and .-- as the US Constitution did not forbid it (as had the Articles of Confederation) -- they took their leave of the United States. They created a country of their own with a constitution (mostly copied from the original constitution of the US) and they became a separate country.

A few Americans, today, actually know what caused that split. A handful of Americans understand what the ensuing war was fought about. A few million Americans still feel the sting of being forced, at the point of a government bayonet, to be a part of a country their ancestors had forsaken in order to set up a representative republic in the image of the government the Founding Fathers of America had given the United States.

A few million Americans who either live in, have lived in, or hail from, the only portion of this country to ever be invaded, conquered, and occupied by a foreign power, understand what is happening in America today, not because we learned it in school, -- because we learned it from the stories our families have handed down, from generation to generation, and from our own research into what happened to a country which had, less than a hundred years before, won it's independence from the Mother Country.

We are scattered all over America today... north, south, east, west, all over. We see where America is headed… and we fear for our fellow Americans because they/we are not ready for the cost of what is happening to America. None of us are.

What America is facing, in the next few years, will make the American Civil War seem like a Sunday School picnic.

Yes, I am referring to SLAVERY. Voluntary slavery to begin with… then involuntary slavery -- when it is then too late. The socially accepted word for it these days is… SOCIALISM.

Back in November of 2008, Americans went to the polls and voted, voluntarily, to assume the national yoke of socialism. Whether America should stay free, or whether America should give up the freedom so many have fought, bled, and died for, apparently was not even under consideration by the electorate at the time.

Even thought we conservatives had warned of impending national destruction, if the nation chose socialism, the voter’s chose the current President -- and-- added many more socialists to the rolls of Congress. Effectively, America stopped being a constitutional republic, at that moment, and became just another mediocre socialist state like unto so many countries in Europe.

In January of 2009 the “rot” at the heart of America began to spread, exponentially, and we find ourselves, in 2010, in a country, which is beginning to resemble a third-world “banana republic.”

America is currently ruled by “command and control” by a President with strong Socialist/Marxist tendencies. He believes in Socialism, Marxism, Collectivism, and some even go so far as to declare that he also has strong leanings toward communism. As a result America is broke, in debt so deep our great grandchildren will still be burdened with the nation’s debt, and many Americans are humiliated and angry.

The average American has now begun to understand that socialism will destroy a nation -- just as we warned before the election! They also understand that destruction has begun and is well on its way to destroying America. Much of America has awakened and are angry at the bitter taste of Socialistic Slavery.Make no mistake. SOCIALISM IS SLAVERY. Under socialism a people give up all their rights… all their freedom... for security guaranteed by a powerful Central Government. Believe me, if you think democracy is expensive; wait 'til you have to pay for all those FREE programs.

All my instincts tell me that today's crop of Americans are willing to give up everything for the promise of security. I must tell you -- of all things "un-American"… that is the MOST un-American.

Do not expect the half of the country who stands solidly against socialism to go along, quietly, into the self inflicted slavery of this hell-spawned form of government called socialism.

The word "United" can be dropped from the name: “The UNITED States of America.” The country has been torn in two. And there will be no compromise. It cannot be healed, ever, again. Two peoples, this diametrically opposed, cannot share the same space. Only the most naive among us cannot understand where this argument, over how we are to be governed, will eventually wind up.Americans have been divided before. More Americans died in the first American Civil War than in all the wars in which America has fought since her founding. And today, at least half of this country is deadly in earnest about their love of freedom and are willing to sacrifice, as their forefathers did, to preserve it.

Yes, we are in dangerous times -- extremely dangerous. On the horizon of America’s future, dark clouds are gathering. Let us hope those gathering clouds are not the leading edge of the winds of war.

NO GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE REFORM!

The dunces in the Congress, both houses, apparently still do not get the message the American people have been sending them loudly and clearly over the past few months. Even AFTER the election of the 41st vote against ObamaCare, they insist the American people want healthcare reform.

They are absolutely wrong!

As an American “people,” myself, I can attest to the fact that we want nothing to do with government-run, government controlled, government sponsored, so-called universal healthcare, otherwise known as ObamaCare.

Some leftists organizations who pretend and, in some cases, presume to speak for their membership, and for the American people as a whole, insist to the Congress that we DO want government sponsored and/or government-run healthcare reform. THEY, TOO, ARE WRONG!

What we want is for the government to get the hell out of it and allow the free market to work in the healthcare industry as it does in any and every kind of business in America. At least it USED to before the socialist in the White House, and those in Congress, began to meddle in the business affairs of the country.

The Democrats are busy looking for a way, anyway, to save face for their president, Obama. They KNOW his presidency, so far, has been a failure and will be recorded by history as such. But if they can get a bill, any bill, he can sign that will provide the appearance of having accomplished something, anything, in his first year in office, it will, they think, counter balance, or mitigate, history’s record of Obama’s failure as a President.

They are partly correct in thinking that. I mean, how often do you read, see, or hear, when references are made to former President Bill Clinton, that he was impeached? EVER? That’s what I thought.

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) has said a decision on exactly how to proceed should not be long in coming. Schumer said: “That doesn't mean we're going to sit here and twiddle our thumbs for weeks and weeks and weeks, but it'll take a few days to figure out what the best solution is,” he said.

A word of wisdom to the good Senator from New York: “Senator, LEAVE IT ALONE! DROP IT and LET IT GO!”

It IS conceivable the Dems will use their old trick of Incrementalism to get ObamaCare passed, anyway, right in front of our eyes, without us seeing it. They will take the bill apart, literally, and pass bits of it, one bit at a time, until they have ObamaCare passed into law. In fact, Pelosi has said: “One way or another, those areas of agreement that we have, will have to be advanced, whether it’s by passing the Senate bill with any changes that can be made or just taking pieces of it. “

We must be even more vigilant, now, than ever. The Democratic Party is wounded and a wounded animal is at its most dangerous when it is hurt and afraid.

The Obama Regime has not given up on securing major healthcare reform. They have yet to grasp the truth that the American people are far more concerned over the country’s economic mess than in government-run healthcare – ObamaCare.

Many democrats are fearful the President will take a stand for a renewed effort at passing ObamaCare this year in his State of the Union Address. Many in the President’s own party want ObamaCare scuttled and off the board, completely. They are taking heat from their constituents back home to do something about the economy and the abysmal unemployment figures. They have begun to understand the American people already have their priorities straight. Fix the economy FIRST! Do it NOW!

The “Far Left” is pouring on the coal and stoking the fires under the dems to stay with ObamaCare until they get it passed -- anyway they can. The Far Left has expended a huge amount of money, energy, and effort in their campaign to reshape public opinion toward government-run healthcare. They are giving democrats in the House and the Senate “fits.” The pressure is intense. But, hey, the politicians asked for the job!

The old expression: “It ain’t over ‘til the fat lady sings!” certainly applies here. Actually, try as I might, I can’t even see the fat lady in the wings!

No, I don’t think it is over. Maybe it is my natural paranoia, but I cannot get past the feeling that the dems will continue to press ObamaCare in hopes of wearing down the resolve of the American people and finally, finally, get it passed into law.

Now, I have a question to ask: When did the relationship between the American people and their government become adversarial?? I can’t put my finger on a date, but I think the cause is the absence of term limits. When a politician stays 18, 20, or 24 years in Washington, DC, instead of at home with his friends and relatives and the people he purportedly represents, he/she loses touch. Caught up in the grandiosity of the nation’s capitol he/she begins to think in elitist terms. Consciously, or not, he/she BECOMES a member of the ruling elite. When that happens the ties between him/her and his/her constituents is severed. He/she no longer represents the constituent. He/she represents the government. He/she, and his former constituents, are then adversaries. That is where we find ourselves in modern day America -- us against them.

The American people are angry, angrier than I have ever seen them. If you think the anger of the Massachusetts voters, in a BLUE state, no less, was hot, test the white-hot heat of rage in the RED states!

There are nine months, and a few days, until the Mid-Term Election in November. If the election were held today there would be a massacre of incumbents at the polls. As if stands today, even if the rage cools somewhat in the intervening months, incumbents can still expect a political blood bath at the polls this fall. Americans do not suffer fools lightly.

Back on January 12, 1848, Abraham Lincoln said the following: "Any people, anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable and most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people that can, may revolutionize, and make their own, of so many of the territory as they inhabit." These words should be engraved in stone over the doors to the US Senate, the US House of Representatives, and most certainly, over the door to the Oval Office.

Recently, a friend sent me an article by Ms. Kitty Werthmann, which you will find below. As soon as I read it, I knew THIS was one I HAD to share with those of you who may not have seen it. Ms. Werthmann has issued a warning to all Americans based on personal experience. Americans would do well to heed her warning, especially with the Mid-Term Elections coming up in November.

Please take the few precious minutes necessary to read the article below. Then think about the wisdom this lady imparts by sharing the story of her days in the grip of a government flexing it's totalitarian muscles. It is a grim reminder of the damage a bad mistake at the polls can do the people of a democratic country... such as the United States.

What I am about to tell you is something you've probably never heard or read in history books.

I am an eyewitness to history. I can tell you that Hitler did not take Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history. We elected him by a landslide - 98% of the vote. I've never read that in any American publications. Everyone thinks Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.

In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates. Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didn't want to work; there simply weren't any jobs. My mother was a Christian woman and believed in helping people in need. Every day we cooked a big kettle of soup and baked bread to feed those poor, hungry people - about 30 daily.

The Communist Party and the National Socialist Party were fighting each other. Blocks and blocks of cities like Vienna , Linz , and Graz were destroyed. The people became desperate and petitioned the government to let them decide what kind of government they wanted.

We looked to our neighbor on the north, Germany , where Hitler had been in power since 1933. We had been told that they didn't have unemployment or crime, and they had a high standard of living. Nothing was ever said about persecution of any group -- Jewish or otherwise. We were led to believe that everyone was happy. We wanted the same way of life in Austria . We were promised that a vote for Hitler would mean the end of unemployment and help for the family. Hitler also said that businesses would be assisted, and farmers would get their farms back. Ninety-eight percent of the population voted to annexAustria to Germany and have Hitler for our ruler.

We were overjoyed, and for three days we danced in the streets and had candlelight parades. The new government opened up big field kitchens and everyone was fed.

After the election, German officials were appointed, and like a miracle, we suddenly had law and order. Three or four weeks later, everyone was employed. The government made sure that a lot of work was created through the Public Work Service.

Hitler decided we should have equal rights for women. Before this, it was a custom that married Austrian women did not work outside the home. An able-bodied husband would be looked down on if he couldn't support his family. Many women in the teaching profession were elated that they could retain the jobs they previously had been required to give up for marriage.


Hitler Targets Education-Eliminates Religious Instruction for Children:

Our education was nationalized. I attended a very good public school.. The population was predominantly Catholic, so we had religion in our schools. The day we elected Hitler (March 13, 1938), I walked into my schoolroom to find the crucifix replaced by Hitler's picture hanging next to a Nazi flag. Our teacher, a very devout woman, stood up and told the class we wouldn't pray or have religion anymore. Instead, we sang "Deutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles," and had physical education.

Sunday became National Youth Day with compulsory attendance. Parents were not pleased about the sudden change in curriculum. They were told that if they did not send us, they would receive a stiff letter of warning the first time. The second time they would be fined the equivalent of $300, and the third time they would be subject to jail. The first two hours consisted of political indoctrination. The rest of the day we had sports. As time went along, we loved it. Oh, we had so much fun and got our sports equipment free. We would go home and gleefully tell our parents about the wonderful time we had.

My mother was very unhappy. When the next term started, she took me out of public school and put me in a convent. I told her she couldn't do that and she told me that someday when I grew up, I would be grateful. There was a very good curriculum, but hardly any fun - no sports, and no political indoctrination. I hated it at first but felt I could tolerate it. Every once in a while, on holidays, I went home. I would go back to my old friends and ask what was going on and what they were doing. Their loose lifestyle was very alarming to me. They lived without religion. By that time unwed mothers were glorified for having a baby for Hitler. It seemed strange to me that our society changed so suddenly. As time went along, I realized what a great deed my mother did so that I wasn't exposed to that kind of humanistic philosophy.


Equal Rights Hits Home:

In 1939, the war started and a food bank was established. All food was rationed and could only be purchased using food stamps. At the same time, a full-employment law was passed which meant if you didn't work, you didn't get a ration card, and if you didn't have a card, you starved to death. Women who stayed home to raise their families didn't have any marketable skills and often had to take jobs more suited for men.

Soon after this, the draft was implemented. It was compulsory for young people, male and female, to give one year to the labor corps. During the day, the girls worked on the farms, and at night they returned to their barracks for military training just like the boys. They were trained to be anti-aircraft gunners and participated in the signal corps. After the labor corps, they were not discharged but were used in the front lines. When I go back to Austria to visit my family and friends, most of these women are emotional cripples because they just were not equipped to handle the horrors of combat. Three months before I turned 18, I was severely injured in an air raid attack. I nearly had a leg amputated, so I was spared having to go into the labor corps and into military service.


Hitler Restructured the Family Through Daycare:

When the mothers had to go out into the work force, the government immediately established child care centers. You could take your children ages 4 weeks to school age and leave them there around-the-clock, 7 days a week, under the total care of the government. The state raised a whole generation of children. There were no motherly women to take care of the children, just people highly trained in child psychology. By this time, no one talked about equal rights. We knew we had been had.


Health Care and Small Business Suffer Under Government Controls:

Before Hitler, we had very good medical care. Many American doctors trained at the University ofVienna .. After Hitler, health care was socialized, free for everyone. Doctors were salaried by the government. The problem was, since it was free, the people were going to the doctors for everything. When the good doctor arrived at his office at 8 a.m., 40 people were already waiting and, at the same time, the hospitals were full. If you needed elective surgery, you had to wait a year or two for your turn. There was no money for research as it was poured into socialized medicine. Research at the medical schools literally stopped, so the best doctors left Austria and emigrated to other countries.

As for healthcare, our tax rates went up to 80% of our income. Newlyweds immediately received a $1,000 loan from the government to establish a household. We had big programs for families. All day care and education were free. High schools were taken over by the government and college tuition was subsidized. Everyone was entitled to free handouts, such as food stamps, clothing, and housing.

We had another agency designed to monitor business. My brother-in-law owned a restaurant that had square tables. Government officials told him he had to replace them with round tables because people might bump themselves on the corners. Then they said he had to have additional bathroom facilities. It was just a small dairy business with a snack bar. He couldn't meet all the demands. Soon, he went out of business. If the government owned the large businesses and not many small ones existed, it could be in control.

We had consumer protection. We were told how to shop and what to buy. Free enterprise was essentially abolished. We had a planning agency specially designed for farmers. The agents would go to the farms, count the live-stock, and then tell the farmers what to produce, and how to produce it.


"Mercy Killing" Redefined:

In 1944, I was a student teacher in a small village in the Alps . The villagers were surrounded by mountain passes which, in the winter, were closed off with snow, causing people to be isolated. So people intermarried and offspring were sometimes retarded. When I arrived, I was told there were 15 mentally retarded adults, but they were all useful and did good manual work. I knew one, named Vincent, very well. He was a janitor of the school. One day I looked out the window and saw Vincent and others getting into a van. I asked my superior where they were going. She said to an institution where the State Health Department would teach them a trade, and to read and write. The families were required to sign papers with a little clause that they could not visit for 6 months. They were told visits would interfere with the program and might cause homesickness.

As time passed, letters started to dribble back saying these people died a natural, merciful death. The villagers were not fooled. We suspected what was happening. Those people left in excellent physical health and all died within 6 months. We called this euthanasia.


The Final Steps - Gun Laws:

Next came gun registration. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long after-wards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily.

No more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.

Totalitarianism didn't come quickly; it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria. Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism. Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.

After World War II, Russian troops occupied Austria. Women were raped, preteen to elderly. The press never wrote about this either. When the Soviets left in 1955, they took everything that they could, dismantling whole factories in the process. They sawed down whole orchards of fruit, and what they couldn't destroy, they burned. We called it The Burned Earth. Most of the population barricaded themselves in their houses. Women hid in their cellars for 6 weeks as the troops mobilized. Those who couldn't; paid the price. There is a monument in Vienna today, dedicated to those women who were massacred by the Russians. This is an eye witness account.

The article below entitled: “Socialism and Obama” was first published in September of 2008… before the Presidential Election in which B. H. Obama was elected President of the United States. As you can see, we had Mr. Obama pegged for the socialist/communist he turned out to be.

It STILL is a source of persistent concern for me that the American electorate could have been so willfully BLIND to Mr. Obama’s communist sympathies, which he now flaunts through the policies he has enacted in his very first year in Office. As a result, the United States has, very nearly, collapsed -- finding itself in the worst financial shape it has experienced since the Great Depression of the last century! THIS is what Socialism does! THIS is what Communism does!

Even today, in January of 2010, the US is teetering on the cusp of a second recession which, if it happens,will render the country destitute.

I find it very difficult to empathize with my fellow Americans who opine and moan that they voted for Obama, not knowing he was a socialist/communist! I am compelled to ask the burning question: “Where the hell WERE you, then?” As you can see in the article below we trumpeted it from the rooftops of the nation!

It is too late now to correct the national mistake made last November. The damage done to the US will take generations to repair, IF it CAN be repaired. In the meantime, we will have no choice but to suffer the pain we have brought upon ourselves - and make no mistake about it: WE DID THIS TO OURSELVES!

This coming November, if the Obama Regime allows it, we will have the national Mid-Term Elections. If the American voter has any sense left, AT ALL, he/she/they will flood to the polls and vote out of office every incumbent who supported the Obama Regime in ANY WAY, and to any degree. If we truly want to save America, we will do that. If we don’t do it, then America is finished. Her greatness will be a thing of the past. Her glory will fade like that of ancient Rome, and her exceptional history will forever be relegated to that place where mankind stores his hoard of myths and legends. The lofty perch of world leadership will be vacated while humanity waits in nervous trepidation for America’s successor.

It most certainly IS true that democracies are their own worst enemies. For democracies run the risk of making dumb, hurtful, mistakes in choosing leadership.

Mistakes at the ballot box can destroy a democracy -- as America is learning today. It is a costly lesson. And worse, it may yet be unlearned! We won’t know until after the polls close in November.

This should come as no surprise to anyone. The democrat/socialists are currently in charge of the legislative branch of the US government. If they manage to get a socialist in the Oval Office, you can bet the Supreme Court is next. Then, what’s left? Think about it.

The big question American voters have been asking is: “Are we Americans ready for a “rookie” in the White House?” I submit to you (as have a number of other conservative scribes) the question ought to be: “Are Americans ready for a socialist in the White House?”

Obama is the most liberal senator in the US Senate. We know this from his record. We should all understand, especially Americans supporting Obama, that we are asking for socialist laws and socialist programs to be pushed through the Congress of the US if we have Obama in the Oval Office and a “veto-proof” Democratic Congress.

John Voight, an Academy Award-winning actor well known for his humanitarian work said the following in an op-ed piece titled: “My Concerns For America. Obama sowing socialist seeds in young people”. Mr. Voight wrote the piece recently for The Washington Times: “If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way.” You can read the entire article at:

Look, socialism does not work! Oh, it looks great on paper, but in practice it corrupts and corrodes and finally rots a country’s core until that country collapses in on itself. History has taught us that. But, if you have not been taught history and you are ignorant of the trail of collapsed socialist countries littering the landscape of human history then, yes, you may find socialism’s promises compelling. For those of us who have studied history, and (at my age), have lived history, it scares the hell out of us! We have watched our beloved country, over the past few years, drift ever closer to European State Socialism… and it is frightening.

Mr. Obama, and the democrat/socialists, currently in charge of our government, worship(s) the ideals of socialism. They talk of “fairness’ and “redistribution of the national wealth” (and of individual wealth), of government run “universal healthcare”, and bigger and bigger government wielding more and more power over individual’s lives. And then… there is Obama’s embrace of the United Nations.

Ever hear of something called The Global Poverty Act? It is Senate Bill s2433 introduced by Obama on December 7th, of 2007. The bill is supposed to compel (require) the President of the US to devise and implement strategies to promote the reduction of global poverty, and even eliminate extreme global poverty, and to promote the achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goal of reducing by one-half the proportion of people worldwide, between 1990 and 2015, who live on less than $1 per day." A high sounding goal, right? Well, what will such a plan cost the US taxpayers? How about 845 billion US dollars (spread over thirteen years), over and above the foreign aid we already provide for struggling nations and peoples around the globe? And, even more troubling… where will that money come from? Of course, it will come from the pockets of you and me and the other US taxpayers. I don’t know about you, but, to me, the Global Poverty Act sounds like just another way to buy friends. As Mr. Cary says: “In other words, other nations will like us better if we give them our money”.In an article by Cliff Kincaid at the Accuracy in Media website titled: “Obama’s International Socialist Connections”, Mr. Kincaid says: “Obama's socialist backing goes back at least to 1996, when he received the endorsement of the Chicago branch of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) for an Illinois state senate seat… DSA describes itself as the largest socialist organization in the United States and the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International. The Socialist International (SI) has what is called "consultative status" with the United Nations. In other words, it works hand-in-glove with the world body.” You can read the entire article at:

Benjamin Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers of this republic, is credited with having said: “When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.” Franklin was, of course, correct.

Two years ago, in December of 2007, I wrote an article entitled: “Environmentalism is a Religion.” It turned out to be more on target than even I suspected. With the Environuts, and enviro-police, and the seekers after absolute power over the earth by the institution of a one-world government (known these days by the flowery title of Global Governance) gathered in Copenhagen, for another attempt at yoking the planet with the pagan religion of “earth worship,” it seemed to me that today would be a good time to revisit the Environmentalism as a religion concern once again.

As I viewed the gathering of priests of the new/old pagan religion in Copenhagen, I thought to myself, nothing much has changed over the last several thousands of years. Men still seek power over their fellow man and they still use fear to acquire it and even more fear to hold onto it. The Copenhagen meeting is simply a way of inducing fear, at a deeper level, into humanity and using that fear to control all the peoples of the earth.

As I viewed news reports coming out of Copenhagen a piece of scripture from the New Testament of the Bible, written by Saint Paul in a letter to newly minted Christians in Ephesus, maybe a couple of thousand years ago, floated to the surface of my consciousness: “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12) I thought just how apropos that verse of scripture is when applied to modern times both in America and the entire world. “Spiritual Wickedness in high places” could have been written today to describe the gaggle of Czars in the Obama Regime right here in America.

There is a sickness abroad in the land – and on the planet. I refer to the attempt at the enslavement of all mankind. Global Governance is likely the most important part of the Copenhagen Treaty. We’re talking a single governing body to oversee the entire planet. This would be a non-elected body of men, and/or women, who would, in effect, rule the earth. If you control the earth’s energy, and energy sources, you control the earth – ALL the earth! At least they intend to try. You and I know it can’t be done, but blinded by their own lust for power THEY believe IT CAN BE DONE and THEY can do it. You must understand, these are people who believe themselves to be “the best and brightest” of the earth -- and they, and only they, know what is best for the people of earth. These people are truly “the malignant ones” straight out of the darkness of evil and degradation.

The ancient Psalmist says: “The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear.” (Psalm 58:3-4)

Even with the release of the hacked e-mails of ClimateGate, millions simply refuse to believe the proof of the worldwide hoax of Global Warming even when it is placed right in front of their eyes. As the Psalmist described, they have “stopped their ears.” Yes, the old adage: “There are none so blind as those who will not see” must be applied to all the millions who doggedly hang on to a disgraced, phony, religion seeking salvation through their works toward saving the planet.
Back in 2003, Michael Crichton pointed out how common sense was being violated by research we have been assured shows that human activity is causing the Earth's climate to warm and that this warming cannot be reversed. Crichton said the following: "Nobody believes a weather prediction 12 hours ahead. Now we're asked to believe a prediction that goes 100 years into the future? And make financial investments based on that prediction? Has everyone lost their minds?"

They have not lost their minds. This is, as a friend said recently, “willful ignorance.” They do not want to know the truth for they fear the truth. Lies serve the purpose of those in the hierarchy of this new/old pagan religion. Truth does not.

Even though reports out of Copenhagen seem to indicate their plans are falling apart there, we Americans have every bit as dire a problem looming on the political horizon in the White House and Congress. I refer, of course, to Obama’s “Cap and Trade Bill. The provisions of the bill, we now know, are based on skewed science; some even refer to it as fraudulent science.

Nevertheless, the President, and his minions in the Congress, intend to ram that bill through Congress and, in doing so, will cause the lay offs of millions of American working men and women in the coal business and other fuel producing industries, and the increase of the price of fuel to heat our homes, offices, and businesses, and prepare our food and operate our automobiles. When the “cost of doing business” increases, businesses will have no choice but to lay off employees within their respective businesses, as well. EVERYONE in America will be drastically affected. Prices on literally everything will increase, rapidly, to unbelievable levels. At the same time, the Cap and Trade Bill will create instant “Carbon Millionaires” not unlike some former politicians who have set up carbon companies.

Cap and Trade must not be allowed to pass the Congress and be signed into law by the President. If the socialists, Marxists and communists in control of the American government today have their way the economy of the United States will be dealt a blow we may never be able to recover from. Thus, American will join the long list of “Has Been Nations” as well as the list of “Third World Nations,” And that is exactly what the Copenhagen Treaty intends. The jealous third nations are determined to “stick it to” America by transferring as much of America’s wealth to, who else – THEM. Yes, it is pure socialism. Between the Copenhagen Treaty and the US’s own Cap and Trade Bill, America will be economically destroyed and greatly weakened, making us a prime target for any malcontent nation or group looking to emasculate and humiliate America on the world stage.

Cap and Trade is a sinister bill and must be stopped. Like jackals the representatives of the various governments and organizations continue to spout their socialist, Marxist, and yes, even communist slogans and goals and as they parade and preen before the world’s news organizations resembling nothing less than zoo animals on display sans the bars.

Men and women of conscious must stand against them. It has now become a matter of life and death, at least to a number of nations.

We must begin fighting back today -- and pray God we are not too late to save America!

As I viewed news reports coming out of Copenhagen a piece of scripture from the New Testament of the Bible, written by Saint Paul in a letter to newly minted Christians in Ephesus, maybe a couple of thousand years ago, floated to the surface of my consciousness: “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12) I thought just how apropos that verse of scripture is when applied to modern times both in America and the entire world. “Spiritual Wickedness in high places” could have been written today to describe the gaggle of Czars in the Obama Regime right here in America.

There is a sickness abroad in the land – and on the planet. I refer to the attempt at the enslavement of all mankind. Global Governance is likely the most important part of the Copenhagen Treaty. We’re talking a single governing body to oversee the entire planet. This would be a non-elected body of men, and/or women, who would, in effect, rule the earth. If you control the earth’s energy, and energy sources, you control the earth – ALL the earth! At least they intend to try. You and I know it can’t be done, but blinded by their own lust for power THEY believe IT CAN BE DONE and THEY can do it. You must understand, these are people who believe themselves to be “the best and brightest” of the earth -- and they, and only they, know what is best for the people of earth. These people are truly “the malignant ones” straight out of the darkness of evil and degradation.

The ancient Psalmist says: “The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear.” (Psalm 58:3-4)

Even with the release of the hacked e-mails of ClimateGate, millions simply refuse to believe the proof of the worldwide hoax of Global Warming even when it is placed right in front of their eyes. As the Psalmist described, they have “stopped their ears.” Yes, the old adage: “There are none so blind as those who will not see” must be applied to all the millions who doggedly hang on to a disgraced, phony, religion seeking salvation through their works toward saving the planet.

Back in 2003, Michael Crichton pointed out how common sense was being violated by research we have been assured shows that human activity is causing the Earth's climate to warm and that this warming cannot be reversed. Crichton said the following: "Nobody believes a weather prediction 12 hours ahead. Now we're asked to believe a prediction that goes 100 years into the future? And make financial investments based on that prediction? Has everyone lost their minds?"

They have not lost their minds. This is, as a friend said recently, “willful ignorance.” They do not want to know the truth for they fear the truth. Lies serve the purpose of those in the hierarchy of this new/old pagan religion. Truth does not.

Even though reports out of Copenhagen seem to indicate their plans are falling apart there, we Americans have every bit as dire a problem looming on the political horizon in the White House and Congress. I refer, of course, to Obama’s “Cap and Trade Bill. The provisions of the bill, we now know, are based on skewed science; some even refer to it as fraudulent science.

Nevertheless, the President, and his minions in the Congress, intend to ram that bill through Congress and, in doing so, will cause the lay offs of millions of American working men and women in the coal business and other fuel producing industries, and the increase of the price of fuel to heat our homes, offices, and businesses, and prepare our food and operate our automobiles. When the “cost of doing business” increases, businesses will have no choice but to lay off employees within their respective businesses, as well. EVERYONE in America will be drastically affected. Prices on literally everything will increase, rapidly, to unbelievable levels. At the same time, the Cap and Trade Bill will create instant “Carbon Millionaires” not unlike some former politicians who have set up carbon companies.

Cap and Trade must not be allowed to pass the Congress and be signed into law by the President. If the socialists, Marxists and communists in control of the American government today have their way the economy of the United States will be dealt a blow we may never be able to recover from. Thus, American will join the long list of “Has Been Nations” as well as the list of “Third World Nations,” And that is exactly what the Copenhagen Treaty intends. The jealous third nations are determined to “stick it to” America by transferring as much of America’s wealth to, who else – THEM. Yes, it is pure socialism. Between the Copenhagen Treaty and the US’s own Cap and Trade Bill, America will be economically destroyed and greatly weakened, making us a prime target for any malcontent nation or group looking to emasculate and humiliate America on the world stage.

Cap and Trade is a sinister bill and must be stopped. Like jackals the representatives of the various governments and organizations continue to spout their socialist, Marxist, and yes, even communist slogans and goals and as they parade and preen before the world’s news organizations resembling nothing less than zoo animals on display sans the bars.

Men and women of conscious must stand against them. It has now become a matter of life and death, at least to a number of nations.

We must begin fighting back today -- and pray God we are not too late to save America!

The short answer to the question posed in the title to this piece is: NO!
The long answer is: NO!

The Obama Regime has managed to do more damage to the United States of America in eleven short months than any other presidential administration in the history of the republic! And it is only in its first year!

We are broke. We are demoralized. We are extremely worried about the future of the country and, even more importantly, how it is going to affect our children and grandchildren, and we ARE MAD -- not angry – MAD!

Fellow Americans, we have a government out of control! That was never supposed to happen in America. The people are supposed to control the government. The people ARE the government! At least, we WERE. The people of the states created the federal government to act as an agent of the states, not the other way around. But, today, it is a topsy-turvey world in America, as the federal government demands the subservience of the states and the people of those states.

The socialists in the White House and the Congress are dragging America down to the level of a third world country at a speed that would have been unbelievable had we not lived through these past eleven months.

I hope Americans understand that we are LIVING HISTORY here! We have front row seats to the demise of the greatest country, ever, in the history of the planet. I now know how the ancient Romans felt as they watched their empire crumble and erode right in front of their eyes.

As I said, Americans are MAD! This President’s popularity rating has dropped faster than that of any US president since the late 1940’s. This President has spent more money than all US presidents added together! He has spent so much, and borrowed so much, and run the countries debt up so high, that it will take generations to pay it down. On top of that, we, as a country, are about to see our credit rating go down the toilet! It is embarrassing and it is humiliating.

And the spending continues! The socialists/democrats/progressives/communists are working quietly behind the scenes, hoping that you and I won’t notice, as they put together yet another “Stimulus” package. Of course, when it becomes public it will not be titled as a stimulus package. It will have some innocent sounding name, but, in fact, it will be another huge bailout batch of loot tossed down the sewer. This is more money that was, most likely, borrowed from Communist China.

Obama tells us he is creating jobs. No, he isn’t. The government simply transfers jobs from the private sector to the public sector. No jobs are actually created. That is why unemployment remains high and even rising while the President crows about how many jobs he has created.

Americans MUST get a grasp on the reality of the American government. Understand this: The US government has no money of its own. The US government cannot create wealth. And equally as important, we, absolutely, must come to understand that the US government cannot create jobs.

There are few of us old codgers around who actually have some remembrance of all the public works jobs FDR “created” during the Great Depression. If you bother to look at the figures you will see that unemployment figures, even with all those jobs FDR supposedly created, remained in the double digits! Obama is doing the same thing. It is slight of hand. It LOOKS good but that is all. It is “misdirection,” much as a magician, on stage, misdirects your attention elsewhere while he pockets the lost card.

Have you ever thought about how we are going to pay back all that money to China? Will we have to, oh, say, give them California to satisfy SOME of the loan? Or maybe Texas, or Alaska, or maybe they’ll take Florida, or they might be persuaded to take Yellowstone National Park as payment on the interest. As ridiculous as that may sound – it is not THAT far from the truth.

You know, we used to refer to the democrats as “Tax and Spend Democrats.” Now that they are Socialists, Marxists, and Communists, nothing has changed, except the Mainstream Media is in the tank for them. You see, the Mainstream media is riddled to the core with men and women of the same socialist, Marxist and communist political philosophy and they are not about to bad mouth their fellow travelers in the current government of the US.

The Socialist Left has had enough time, now, to infiltrate the journalism schools of our major universities and for decades, now, they have been turning out brand new socialist, Marxist, and communist journalists. The mainstream media is filled with them.

The question remains, however, of the survival of the United States after a four-year stint with Obama and his cadre of communists Czars. Can we survive? Honestly, I don’t see how it is possible. The damage the man and his minions has done, already, to the US will take generations to correct. We’re talking 30, 60, 120 years just to get us back to where we were upon his ascendancy to office.

It is an extremely costly mistake America made in electing Obama to the Presidency and handing over control of the Congress to the Socialist, Marxist, and Communists democrats. I only hope that once America has thrown off the yoke of Obama’s socialism it will forever forsake another experiment with socialism, Marxism, and communism. But, being realistic, I must say that we Americans, as a nation, have a short memory. In the decades ahead, we are sure to make this same mistake again. For the sake of the country, I hope there are enough men and women around who remember the Obama Regime and the damage it did to this country to enlighten the American electorate before it commits to another costly mistake.

We are a resilient people. We can suffer almost anything and survive, even triumph. But, dear reader, it will take everything we have to survive the Obama Regime. I would not bet on us making it.
