Experts Dispute Some Points in Health Talk

President Obama showed great fluency in the intricate details of health policy at his news conference on Wednesday night, but experts said some of his points were debatable.

Mr. Obama said doctors, nurses, hospitals, drug companies and AARP had supported efforts to overhaul health care.

Now, I must ask.....why would AARP, made up of the elderly, endorse a bill that would pretty much ask them to check out 'voluntarily'....as least for the moment. At the rate things are going, I'm guessing at some point in time, there will be a requirement for us all to report to a 'termination center', ala Soylent Green.

While it is true the American Medical Association has endorsed a bill drafted by House Democratic leaders, a half-dozen state medical societies have sharply criticized provisions that would establish a new government-run health insurance plan.

Likewise, Mr. Obama said Medicare could save large amounts of money by creating “an independent group of doctors and medical experts who are empowered to eliminate waste and inefficiency” and hold down the annual increases in payments to health care providers.

If he freakin' kidding? One of the biggest wastes of money is the bureaucracy that is Medicare, and any other gubmint run agency.

Far from supporting this proposal, the American Hospital Association is urging hospital executives to lobby against it.

Go figure. His lips move....and all you hear are lies. Is he not aware that we aren't all fawning at his feet? Does the concept of NO, we don't want your socialized medicine, one of the most ineffectual health care systems in world?

Of the proposed new cost-control agency, Mr. Obama said: “It’s not going to reduce Medicare benefits. What it’s going to do is to change how those benefits are delivered so that they’re more efficient.”

We're talking more bureaucracy, not less, and when there is more, you get more costs. The man has never run a business, or any sort, in his entire life....how the hell would he know? I question his ability to even balance a checkbook.

“If we had done nothing, if you had the same old budget as opposed to the changes we made,” the deficit over the next 10 years would be $2.2 trillion greater, the president said.

If we had "done nothing", odds are, the economy would be making a come back, and we wouldn't be hitting double digit unemployment!

In fact, $1.5 trillion of those “savings” are mainly based on an assumption that the United States would have had as many troops in Iraq in 10 years as it did when Mr. Obama took office. But before leaving office, President George W. Bush signed an agreement with Baghdad mandating the withdrawal of all American forces within three years.

So Mr. Obama is claiming credit for not spending money that, under the policy he inherited from Mr. Bush, would never have been spent in the first place.

Sorry Obummer. YOU own this mess, of YOUR creation. Continuing to blame Bush for your own stupidity is getting REAL old! Grow up! Take responsibility for YOUR actions.

JERUSALEM – The number of Muslims in the U.S. would make America "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world," claimed President Obama in an interview released last night.

His assertion, which is factually inaccurate, comes one day before he is set to deliver a much-anticipated address to the Muslim world from Cairo, Egypt.

I am often quite skittish about using WND as a source, they have, on occasion, posted articles that have blown up in their faces and have had no citation other than the word of a person with an axe to grind. I don't feel that this is one of those occasions, and I intend to offer my own citation from past posts.

Barry Soetoro, aka: Barack Hussein Obama, the poser that claims to be the president of this USA, is a LIAR. He is, in all fact, a Muslim, words spoken from his mouth, HIS words, not mine.

Obama, speaking to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week,” was talking about what he described as “smears” that were claiming he was a Muslim when he maintains he is a practicing Christian.

I tried, on numerous occasions, to point this out to my readers, and to the Conservative blog world, Obama is NOT what he claims to be. He may also not even be a legitimate POTUS due to citizenship concerns, but that's another subject for later. Today it's all about Obama and his LIES to the American people. I don't believe the voters of this nation, even the Democrats, would have embraced Obama as they did had he come out SO pro Muslim during the election process.

Urging a greater partnership with the Islamic world in an address to the Turkish parliament, Obama called the country an important ally in many areas, including the fight against terrorism. He devoted much of his speech to urging a greater bond between Americans and Muslims, portraying terrorist groups such as al-Qaida as extremists who do not represent the vast majority of Muslims. Obama has been, almost from the moment he was elected, kissing the asses of our enemies, extending a hand in *friendship* to those that I am firmly convinced that he, Obama, believes to be his Muslim brothers. This next piece is one of the most disgusting things I have ever read.

Is Obama a coward or is he just trying to protect his true allegiance? That allegiance being Islam! As I said in the commentary of that post, "You know, I actually agree with Obama, we really DO need to reach out to the Taliban. Some Springfield M1A’s and Barrett .50’s will reach right out there and kill the sons a bitches really really DEAD! THAT is how we reach out to the Taliban! I don’t think that’s what Obama has in mind though."

We see stories like this, NYT: Taliban may be acquiring U.S. arms and Obama's Secretary of Homeland Security calls us *domestic terrorists* and denigrates our veterans returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in doing so. We are informed that Scholars Plan U.S. First Four-Year Islamic College, a college that will, I am firmly convinced, if allowed to come to fruition, would be nothing more than a finishing school for the warriors of Islam that DO plan on taking America down, and those people are being ignored by Obama, at least, ignore as far as going after them, and again, I believe that is because the true intent, the MISSION that Obama is on, is one that ends with this nation going down in flames at the hands of an Islamic jihad!

Obama Sides with the Palestinians against Israel, Obama reiterates call for Israel to halt West Bank settlement activity, turning against an ally of this nation and pretty much throwing them, Israel, to the wolves.

We can't stand too much more America. Our finances are a wreck, and with every passing day the Obama administration gives away as much of OUR money as they possibly can. The Obama administration turns it's back on Americans and sides with radical Islam, and let's be honest here, there is no other kind of Islam other than RADICAL! Obama all but abandons Israel and extends a hand to Muslim leaders, and then there's this: Obama Invites Iranian Officials to 4th of July Parties. Yeah, that's the ticket, invite em for some hot dogs, burgers and beer. One big ol' group hug and we can all be friends again.

I, and many others, tried to tell you America, we talked and posted until we were blue in the face, we told you that Barack Hussein Obama is a *stealth* Muslim and that his real intent was to bring this nation down. We were called racists and anti-Obama bloggers. Not too many listened, many did nothing more than call names.
