Momentum

For those who thought the Tea Party people would just disappear after the April 15 nationwide protests, think again!

Tea party 'extremists' rock and reload July 4
According to a Zogby poll commissioned by the O'Leary Report that was released April 28, the survey of 3,937 voters in the last election shows a full 57.1 percent of respondents somewhat or strongly support beliefs of tea party organizers, while 39.3 percent somewhat or strongly opposed them.
(...)
Even 52.6 percent of respondents with no tax liability supported the tea party movement while only 41.8 percent did not. Of those with tax liability, 58 percent supported the protests while 39.4 percent did not.
Translation: No tax liability - pay no taxes. Although, honestly, every time you buy a pair of shoes, you're paying taxing. Some states, like Tennessee even have a tax on food.
Military service members and their families (60.7 percent expressed support) were more likely to support the core beliefs of tea party movement than their non-military peers (48.5 percent expressed support)
Contrary to what many may believe, these Tea Parties aren't just about taxes. They're about our Constitution, they're about core values, they're about a loss of freedoms.

If you didn't make it to an event on April 15, you have another chance to stand up! Events will be happening all over the country, in all 50 states!

Find your city, or one closest to you, and GO! You won't be sorry!

We have to pay taxes, it would be ridiculous to think otherwise, but we're paying taxes that never should exist...

Between the Bush stimulus and bailouts, the Obama *give everyone a bailout* and the utter stupidity of BOTH parties, our great, great great grand kids are in debt already...

I have no problem paying reasonable taxes. Don't know too many folks who do. I definitely take issue with how they spend those taxes. My understanding....federal taxes are to fund the military, to keep us safe, and build roads, so we can transport goods from place to place. NO problem there. :)

So many have worked hard, all their lives, only to see such massive debt put on their children, and their children's children. I fear for our grandkids, Fred. I really do. We may not be here to see it, but we already know the country you and I grew up in is gone, and they'll never know what true freedom was like....UNLESS we stop the weasels, dead in their tracks!

Well Kate, we're doing ALL we can now, we're building support for the TEA protests, we're supporting the American Conservative Party and now we trust in God and hard work...
